The Forbes test drive review of the RL is now at forbes.com/lifestyles/vehicles. It is a very positive review. The article recognizes the many positives about the car but notes as a negative the trunk space. It accurately defends the size of the rear seat area however as being in line with the chief European midsized luxury/sport competitors. It sums up this issue by saying if you want large rear seats and a large trunk then buy a big American car.

Great article, But when he said true sport sedans has to have a manual tranmission in their book, I thought to myself they must have never heard a car called the E55 Benz. That's one bad ass machine with an automatic transmission!!!!

The trunk space on the RL is smaller than my Type S.

I think that since Acura has the TSX that is the size of an A4/3 series and a TL that is the size of an A6/5 series, they should have gone with something that is clearly larger than the TL (about the size of an E class would have been perfect)

 

I second this thought...I feel a little guilty, but I almost bought a barely used RS6 before the RL...Acura Gods, please forgive me
