29.99 Tjmaxx special haha... the point was that money is not the problem I have 5 grand right there set away for supercharger system but I could either go that route or a motor swap. I've got a few thousand extra tied up in some assets right now that I can pull out because I really want to make this car better I like it and enjoy it a lot. But anyways as far as getting back on topic. I've called every major company for magnussen to comtexh, Whipple and ProCharger and none of them can even develop a kit for our cars

there's only two Superchargers that will fit our car.
the Comptech and the one that Andy Gerzand is working on

and takes much much much more than 5 grand.

A Rotrex set up in the RL would be unbelievable, no AC is rough though.

Best bang for the buck would be finding a used comptech kit for a 3rd Gen TL kit like JDMCRX is doing

Only drawback is $$..

For a proper running turbo RL your looking at 5k+ easily

Oh, SHIT! Like 5-grand in CASH????

Plus a few K's locked away in ASSETS?

That's like almost Eight THOUSAND dollhairs!

I was going to shitpost about your plans but it seems like you've thought it all through and it makes pretty much sense.

Take UP TO $8000, one longitudinally mounted Nissan engine, and a transverse engine equipped Honda car, and like, what, crazy glue them together? It would totally work.

Do you already have the 2G RL to swap into? Or is that included in your ALMOST $8000?

Have you considered buying a R34GTR with the RB26DETT and then just cutting off the body from the lower pan? Then just cut off the RL body and re-weld it onto the R34GTR.

You could totally call it the RL34GTR. That would be so sick.

multiply that by 2, please.

a TL'er tried to turbo by spending the least amount of money possible and it still came out over $10k....

Why do you guys gotta be so damn immature and rude about things? I was simply asking a question and someone told me that money is my problem and i was being funny and posting a picture of money. then you gotta turn everything into a joke. I was actually trying to ask about this motor as a serious question and now its turned into a joke. Is that how this forum is most of the time ? I left the other forum I was on because of this.... just because YOU may not have the means or financial stability to do a motor swap like that does not mean that other or myself don't. Can we please get this thread back on topic because I was very interested in knowing about this. Forget about the damn shoes and focus on the topic as it was meant to be. Thank you. If you don't have any mechanical/logical advise about the issue, keep your childish opinions to yourself

I'm like this because I didn't get enough hugs when I was a child.

Well, I should say, a younger child.

its very likely that you chose the wrong board to talk to about your dreams and aspirations!!
you say you are a tuner, but you cant get past the first problem of longitude and transverse mounting transmissions and engines...
have you even sourced the skyline engine?
we're all hatters man, prove us wrong!!!!

Back on topic...If you do end up getting hands on an engine, be sure to clean it with Tire Cleaner before installing as it may allow you to get a CF engine before you install.
