Fixing broken wire harness

hey guys,
I had P0977 code (shift solenoid B OPEN) and troubleshooting revealed broken cable on PCM wire harness (32112-RJA-A50).
I'm trying to repair this and wanted to get some idea on best way to do this.

shift solenoid B cable is broken!

Normally this wouldnt be big deal but the wire is cut very near the connector itself. I was thinking of 3 options:
1. use razor to carefully strip the short wire and solder it back.
2. open the connector and re-pin it. ( i have no idea how to do this)
3. get a replacement used harness (it seems like acura doesnt make this cable anymore so ebay)

Anyone know how to open the connector and what pin I need to get for this connector?

Any other thoughts and tips on doing this would be appreciated.

I'd go with option 1.

Personally, i'd de-pin it, , resolder, and heatshrink it

Thanks! no idea that these existed.
Looking at the pcm connector, it has white plastic cover with 2 prongs on the pin side. Do I need to remove those?

Also on the harness side, there's gray plastic cover, do I need to remove that before de-pining?

that gray plastic cover is partially what keeps the pins from de-pinning themselves, so yess you'd need to remove that.. on the pin side, however, I'm not sure.. by removing the outside gray, you may be able to disengage the pin-side guide and that'll reveal the area where you can de-pin, but can't say for certain at this point..

ok .. car is back on the road. And transmission is shifting smoother than ever. Old wire must been broken inside before the insulation gave away because shifting was rough time to time.

For fix, I was going to do re-pinning But didnt have patience for tools to arrive. I'll see how long this fix lasts....

Just so other people who work on P0977 or shift solenoid B has some tips on replacing the solenoid:
1. I had to go through driver side wheel well (after removing the wheel) to remove two bolts holding the metal battery tray. After that you have access to clutch solenoid and thereafter shift solenoids which are under it.
2. Dont be like me and just guess and replace solenoid when you get the P0977 code. I did this and wasted over 100 bucks for new gaskets, o rings and solenoid B. Use systematic approach to troubleshooting as outlined in factory service manual.
3. Do get a nice tool to remove old gaskets. This took long time for me as I had to carefully use a razor. This was big pain and very time consuming.

here are some pictures as reference:

shift solenoid connector (red wire/brown connector) is separated from solenoid B which is top left one.

remove metal battery tray to access shift solenoid.
