I am currently trying to talk my dad into buying the new RL in January when he hands off the TL to me . But he is considering about 5 other comperable AWD sedans... So my question is what made you decide upon the RL? It is my favorite of the bunch and I'm trying to convince him that he should get it.

He had 2 RLs before the current TL, but is unsure of the new one

My reasons for buying the RL were the interior quality, the exterior styling and the amazing reliability that I had had with Honda products in the past. Now that I have owned the RL, my favourite features are the SH-AWD (and the amazing handling that it provides) and the amazing Honda reliability (not a single problem to date). The electronic gadgets in the car are also a lot of fun and easy to use including a wonderful Nav system, a wonderful audio system and all of the handsfree capabilities.

The RL is just simply amazing. I'm loving every feature of the center console. I can't rant nad rave enough about the ease of the new technology.

I got the RL simply because I needed AWD and well, it seemed like a pretty all around good car on paper and the stereo and "SH" part of the awd got me interested. There were no other AWD cars out or coming out that I had interest in (this was back in november) so I figured to go ahead and get the RL. Had the new Lexus GS not been so odd looking I may have waited for the AWD 300 but I dont like the look at all of the new GS (I also feel the RL has the superior interior) so it made the RL the easy choice.

If lexus ever decides to slap AWD into the IS350 then I may move to that but as of right now there isn't a sedan I would rather have than the RL in terms of overall package.

I was originally looking at a BMW convertable.

I ultimately chose the TL because a friend owned one
and knew I was a gadget freak. After test driving the
TL I decided to get the RL because of the SH-AWD and
the fact that it was a more luxerious vehicle.

This car is downright gorgeous and very classy. The
navigation system is amongst the best available.

I usually hate driving and since buying the RL I look
forward to being in my car.
