Time will tell about BMW price adjustments. So far I don't see this year trend been any different than others for BMW [actually even been a little bit better, in terms of pricing, consider, big spike last year caused by gasoline prices]. Also, BMW not so much into leasing anymore, so aftermarket, will not be that crowded for the next year model.
2007 550i even grew up in value, and new RL/TL was available this time last year as well.
"hasnt dented 2005-08 pricing that much" - I believe multiple examples been provided, that this is not the case, as any car, RL has lost it's value, and comparing with BMW's, this trend is really similar.
My prediction, that price will go down for BMW @ the same pace, as it always did, during the times, then new model been introduced (F10 model), no dramatic spikes.

Burning Brakes
I've used both. BMW's speakers are nice, but I find the Bose system to be just a bit better....and let's not even talk about the head unit. BMW's are soooo confusing! I'll take the Acura set-up any day.

And don't get me started on Idrive - I'm not the fan at all... [BTW I find Audi MMI confusing as well]
