Factory Splashguards

The '06 I picked up has front wheel splashguards but none on the rear?

Is this normal or how they all came from the factory unless you got rears as an option or something?

They come in a set of 4.

Here is one of the online vendors I have used....

There is one situation where two splash guards will not fit when the A-Spec aero kit is also fitted. I cannot remember if it is front or back pair, however. If you search on the site, there is a thread about this.

Nah, I got 4 on mine, the left rear doesn't fit very well, it has a gap.

From the factory there were no guards, strictly a dealer add-on as a set of 4. Was your car hit in the rear at some point and they were never replaced?

At about 95k and after this nasty winter with tons of road salt/pebbles, the front rocker panels were showing signs of sand blasting. I purchased the Acura OEM splash guards and only installed them in the front as the back end (bumper) was not affected.

I don't mind the look too much up front but the RL with splash guards in the back takes on a "Volvo" type look (IMO).

Apparently Canadian models (at least '06's anyway) came with fronts standard and as an option you could get dealer installed rears as part of an "all weather package" (including winter floor mats).

Funny the variations between markets (US/Hawaii/Canada) with a fairly low production volume car...
