on this week i washed and then filled up with gas. i put my Rl in garage. later in day went out, yellow light in dash " Emission problem" i cut off car and restarted no change. retighten gas cap. now i can only think bad gas or water got on something in washing car. Rl runs great . anybody have same thing happen? and resolved.. i am hopeing it will fix its self.

 

If the cap was loose, it would tell you so...and it would take a certain amount of minutes driven consecutively over a certain speed to resolve itself as the computer determines there is no more air leak through the evaporative emissions system. See the owners manual. Not sure what the "emission problem" warning is. Did the messages section give you addtional detail?

 

i think it was a glick.. some water got on something or sensor . i hoping it will go out soon . i have not driven car since. thanks for reply
