driver door arm rest cover

Has anyone tried this?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/INTERIOR-DR...f354%7Ciid%3A1

at the seam my arm rest is starting to peel and it's driving me crazy. This seems to be a very cheap fix which is what worries me.

actually you will be surprise how cheap that piece really is, beside $20 what could really go wrong? If quality is important to you then call the local upholstery shop.

You are right, 20.00 isn't much if it'll fix it. I had the center covers done by an upholstery shop and it cost me $75.00 (for one side the dealership paid of the other but they didn't match so I spent the $$ to make it look 1/2 way right).

when come to leather trim piece anything quality aftermarket is undoubting better than these Honda garbage "leather". My seat insert got replace with a aftermarket one and I have to say the quality is 10x better than OEM.

I have a 1999 Accord and the leather is perfect everywhere and I had a 2003 Accord that was totaled, and it wasn't perfect but it didn't have any tears in the leather just a little loose and wrinkled like me! That said, Acura's are supposed to be a step above but I have seen so many posts on here with failing leather and have seen other Acura's with leather failing, it seems backwards!

Mine has a tear at the seam and its getting worse. I replaced my center armrest cover with eBay covers and color is close, but it’s too gray to match taupe. With 135k miles and the car not worth much, I’ve decided to let the armrest do whatever it’s going to do, especially since I haven’t found a diy color match. It’s a bit involved to get the armrest off and time is an issue for me so I’m letting it go. If it gets really bad, I’ll take action.
