Does every new purchaser get a customer survey?

I purchased a new Acura, and I have not received a survey or questinare regarding my dealership experiance. I have been promised this survey by both the salesperson and the Client Service Office, but have still not received it. I called the 800-382-2238 number and talked to three people there, but they were no help. I get the impression that Acura doesn't want to hear any feedback from the customer?

The only calls I ever get from Acura is regarding service experience for maintenance.

I keep getting mail, E Mail and calls re: the dealership but nobody ever asks you about the car or what you would like to change etc. I didn't buy a dealership, I bought a car. If I don't like the dealership, I will use a different one. They have a record of where it was seviced so they know that you changed locations for a reason and if that reason is because of a problem then isn't it protocol to complain to the dealer first without going to rat on them to the parents?

Good question db22. I thought that the survey was generated by the dealership, to provide feedback on your buying experience? I remember that my salesperson was quite explicit in explaining, that the responses to the questions had to all be the top rating, in order to aid the sales person in a financial sense.

I did get a call from the Client Service Office one month after the purchase, but that was only to ask about the car. The gentleman was asked about the survey, and he said don't worry, the survey was still on its way. If the dealer doesn't send you the survey, after promising to send it, who are you supposed to contact? Do you think that three months is long enough to wait?

After I purchased new, I received 2-3 surveys in the six months following. Three months is certainly within the window of possibility.
