DIY: Air Vent Adjust Wheel Illumination

Hi.
A couple of weeks ago I had removed my trim for clenaing A/C vents and rattle insulation with felt tape.

I figured out that there are bulb holders behind each vent adjust wheels and white dots are transparent for illumination.

Even Tech Pack owners, nobody told they are illuminated on their cars.
I think Honda canceled that after desinged

Then I got W5W LED bulbs (5 pcs 2 USD :P ) and fixed them with silicone.

I drove cable to seat heaters, so I am able to adjust brightnes.

If you are planning to remove your radio for any DIY or want to clean your vents, get 4 bulbs first. All work takes about 1 hour.

do you have to wire them in or do you just plug them in on the bulb holders?

The LED bulbs fitted perfectly and I used silicone glue to fix them.

He meant are there existing factory wires in place. From everything I read, I am going with no.

He's saying the holder is there, the transparent spot is there, but there are no bulbs or wires, even in the Legend.

Everybody seems confused. Sorry.

There are NO CABLES, NO BULBS, NO BULB HOLDERS.

There are ONLY HOLES (same as shift indicator bulb).

Exactly this is a DO IT YOURSELF

Also see my felt tape work on the top pic.
Result is perfect.

TGIF
