Curious to know is there suppose to be a passenger side seat belt warning that shows up in the dash on the 05 RL?? I had an 08 loaner last week and there was a warning in that and when i had an 08 TL and RDX there were warnings in those cars but i never get a warning in my RL wondering if something might be wrong or if i just dont have that capability.

 

I used to get it if my son sat in the front seat. Actually there ar two warnng lights. One is for the passenger side airbag, and it's right by the hazard blinker switch. If your passenger is below certain weight (can't remember what it is), it will turn off the airbag in order to prevent an airbag injury.

The other is the side airbag warning. If your passenger is sitting in such a manner as they are in the way of the deployment of the airbag (i.e. leaning or slouching against the door), it will turn off the side airbag.
