CPO & Extented Acuracare

I wanted to find out if the CPO warrenty on the RL is the same as the Extended i purchased from acura; and does it cover all the other things the CPO warrenty covered.

let me know what u find on this.... im about to buy a extended acuracare too. i also would like to know what it covers before i go in there.

Where are you guys buying your acuracare from now? I tried going to curry acura and the link to buy it is gone.

CPO is not the same as the extended warranty. CPO is just one year/12k miles and is bumper to bumper. Extended acura care is 4 yr/100k miles (note: the 100k mile count starts from the date the car was originally placed into service, not when you bought it CPO). Basically, there is some overlap if you take out the extended at the same time as the CPO. I believe the extended can only be purchased if car has less than 50k miles.

The extended does not cover everything the CPO covers, though it does cover the major stuff like AC, engine, etc. One thing it doesn't cover is the headlight bulbs, those will set you back $140/bulb plus $60 install.
