CPO coverage transferrable?

CPO coverage transferrable?
I'm considering a '10 RL that already has a 1yr/12K mile extension under the CPO program from a private seller.
Is this automatically transferred to me if I purchase, total of 5yrs/62K miles?

Yes. A Honda warranty is applied to the car, not the owner.

I believe I can also buy a further extension up to 4yrs/100K miles thru Curry/Bernardi as long as it remains under original 4yr/50K miles?

CPO can transfer w/ private sale, not dealer sale.

But I believe you need to register change w/ AcuraCare
