code p0108

P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage


just wondering if anyone could shed some light on what this entails would like to get some knowledge on the issue before i goto the mechanic

Probably at the time you got that code the ECU expected to see a low voltage from the Map senor but yours went high. A service manual or even a google search, can probably tell you how to test and fix it. My guess is your Map is bad. It should be very easy to put a volt meter on it and check it.

alright so i talked to my mechanic and he seems to think that it is throwing a false code since the check engine light is not on and reccomended that i just changed the sensor.... my next question is where can I get a new sensor from, and what the right part to buy is

The part number is 37830-PNC-003 and its a little over $50 at the site above.
