Click your MID to Range Miles and wonder!

After clicking to range miles, move your AC from Auto to Recirculate. You'll lose 10 miles in 60 feet. Then go back to Auto, you'll get more miles than what you started with.

Makes sense since the recirculate makes the A/C work harder and thus draws more power from the alternator which uses more gas in the long run.

I tried it and no change for me. The range stayed the same, except after I went 1 mile then the range went down 1 mile.

I drive an 05. But what does the speed limit have to do with it? I was at a contant 50 mph.

That's what I was thinking. Not a thing is the answer. I'm pretty sure that range has mostly to do with how far you are going rather then how fast as long as you aren't flooring it (at any speed) which would shorten you range due to higher fuel consumption obviously.

I have noticed that the "estimated time to arrival" on my SatNav is always off. It basically thinks that I am always going 52 mph. I know that it calculates unverified roads differently [at 25mph, I believe] but on an interstate, it is supposed to work off my average speed. The dealership didn't know what to do, if anything. Any of y'all noticed this?

Weird, mine has always worked and it's really accurate from my experience. I don't think I've seen a setting to turn it off or on though, sorry.
