I replaced the HID bulb in my 2005 RL, and disconnecting the battery caused some trouble codes to come up. Everything seems OK now (at least no MIL light).

How can I clear the codes that were set in the past?

 

By codes do you mean messages? or is a light still on?

 

No, the light is off, but when I go to the nav screen, I still see the codes, even though I assume everything is OK.

 

What are the codes? Where in the menu are you finding them?

 

Hit the info button and then go to messages. I can tell you exactly when I get in the car again.

 

To my knowledge you cannot clear those messages.

 

There is a way to clear the messages. I'll post the sequence one my fiance gets back home with the car...
