So, I was in a parking lot talking on the phone and just as I hungup the phone this guy in his big old white expedition pulls up next to me, pushes open his door and hits my side mirror (pass side). In disbelief I just sit there stunned - and he waves to me (yes WAVES) as if nothing happend. So I go out, look at it and see a big old mark. I peel off the clearbra from the mirror and no paint damage. I was, needless to say, pissed.

I figured hell there was no real damage, that's what the clearbra is for - so I just drove away.

Thankfully the guy who put it on agreed to simply replace it for free.

i started a thread on the tl site regarding the tactics i have adopted in parking lots after one of my semi-retired partners couldnt keep his friggen door of of my truck.

how much did you pay for the clearbra setup?

i was close to getting out and ripping him a new one - but after i realized that the clearbra did a good job, i was happy.

the clearbra fully installed i think was 700. he wrapped the clearbra around the hood and around the fenders (so you can't see where they begin or end). i wasn't sure how good it would turn out (charged me an extra 100 for this) but i am very happy with it. the only line that you can see is going across the hood - and even then it's not all that visible.
