does anybody know if there is a way to clean the center brake light area on top of the rear window? there are some bugs that got trapped and died there it's bothering the crap out of me.

you'll have to disassemble the brake light housing.

 

borrow the wife's tools

 

It is pretty simple to remove the third brake light cover. It is mounted with spring clips. Gently pull down on the cover and it will pop free. Just be aware the spring clips may also pop free, so do not lose them.

This video is not an Acura, but essentually the same process.
