My friend's 05 RL with about 70k miles on it lit up with a bunch of warning lights this morning - Check AFS, Check Transmission, Check Emissions Control. And the "D indicator is flashing when you are driving the car. It has been seriously cold the last two weeks (-15 to -20C) and the car wasn't being driven a lot for most of that time.


If I remember right that's typical for a failing battery or charging system? The battery was replaced in the car about 3-4 years ago not long after he bought it with a new battery from the Acura dealer that sold him the car.
