Changing Batteries on Remote

It is that time for me-- the MIDI on the car just informed me that my remote battery is low. I popped open the cover and was JUST about the pull the batteries...but before I did so i wanted to ask those who have changed their batteries on the remote-- DOES IT IN ANY WAY RESET the settings of the remote and would require me to bring the car and remote to the dealer to be reset?...OR is changing the battery that simple? Just pop the new batteries in and VIOLA...the settings remains?

I figured I ask first before being sorry-- thank you all,

all,
Simple - nothing resets
After changing though, the warning light may linger for a bit, but eventually goes away

Just changed mine too. Piece of cake. All driver settings remained.
