cell phone mount in 06 RL

I just upgraded from 04 TL to 06 RL which I love. What a difference!

However, my only dilemma is the fact that I had a panavise mouting bracket with Proclip device holder to keep my 7130E cell phone out of the way of the other controls.

I ordered the Panavise (which is custom fit for the RL) bracket but when I called Proclip to order the cradle for the 7130E they said it's not available.

Does anyone know of any alternate sources to Proclip to purchase the cradle specifically for the Verizon 7130E?

Please let me know. Thanks.

I left out there that I also bought a new cell phone on the same day that I got the RL. I upgrades from 7100G (which Proclip had a cradle) to 7130E (which they don't) as it's been a very exciting week...

Or get a Bluetooth phone and just leave it in your briefcase?

It is bluetooth. I just prefer the phone in its own holder. Always have.

This might be lame, but have you considered the $9 desk holder through the Blackberry store? I think its under "desktop". Because it sets on flat surface I would presume that you could get something that it attached to (the panavise) and could hold the 7130e at any comfortable angle. I know its not elegant but it might do.

I use one of those sticky pads, I have it on the cover of the cupholder. Works great.

I just ordered it along with a panavise and I will find a way to make these 2 join.

I would hate to have that $9 desk holder thing in my car. Especially, when I have used proclip product before and it looks so much better. Think I am going to wait for them to come out with something. Unless I can find something similar.

I truly understand. I was going to buy the Motorola hands free holder for my E815 and skip hooking up the electronics (use the bluetooth) just to have a nice clean looking installation, but have found that I really don't miss anything by having the phone in the console, except that I find myslf forgetting its in there and going back to get it later on. Then again if I were to use a Blackberry I might want more of the functioning available to me as I drive.

Like I said, it was a lame idea, but i had seen the desk holder while browsing and thought I'd pass the idea along. Best of luck, I'm certain something will be on the market soon.
