Cars dead after Pulley install?

I have a question and most likely 007 you'll be answering first lol
Tonight I went to turn my car on to go somewhere and everything seemed fine, later I turned the car back on and it wouldn't turn over but every light in the car was fully lit but it had the "tck tck tck tck" so I jumped the car and EVERYTHING was lit, Check VSA , Check AWD, Check ABS the brake light was lit on the dash.. and the car was jerky going into gear on my way home.. now I just installed the pulley last week so i think since there was no juice in the battery the pulley might have affected gearing a little?

any opinions?

I checked my car fax and the battery was replaced at Acura in July 2013

Edit : I do run my HIDs on 24/7 and I run the HIDs in the fog lights also plus I tend to play music pretty loud lol

if it is the pulley, did you get a stock diameter or underdrived pulley?

stock of course I wouldn't go near the under drive, it just seems funny in timing, 7 days after I install the pulley my car acts up, wonder if the pulley drained battery?

i know its stock sized but is it recommended to get a ecu reprogramming at the dealer?

I don't think your symptoms are related to the pulley unless the pulley or belt was installed incorrectly. There is no nothing to do after a pulley install from my understanding.

It's possible your alternator is going out and the timing is just coincidental. I would get a charging system check at the auto parts store.

Yes definitely should have nothing to do with the pulley. Like you mentioned, I think it's just coincidental. How old is your battery? I'd start with that, to be honest.

Edit: just saw the battery was replaced in 2013. Is it an Acura battery? I've heard those things aren't the greatest and they sometimes die early.

I honestly have nothing to add to this conversation, but I thought it was funny seeing MayorMcCheese and Tacobello on the forum list under this post. You two should always reply to each other's posts.

(Yes, I still periodically drop by and read)

In any case, hope you get it fixed!
