I was here in hospital at rehab since my viral Meningitis and my weekend P/T has a 05 RL. She watched me roll my windows down and open sunroof with my unlock button on my remote. I told her that her RL should do the same thing but when she tried it didn't work. Can the 05 RL not do this?

press unlock button 2x and hold and the windows will open. I believe if you remove the key from the fob and use it to lock the doors it will close the windows.

 

05 RL does the same thing

 

Yes 05 does. Maybe her remote batt is low

 

You can stick the key in and hold unlock too. You have to insert the key and lock to roll them up.

 

I really wish you could roll them up from the remote as when you notice it start raining, you wouldnt have to run outside and get wet. You could just grab the remote and roll them up from the house

 

^ That would be awesome! It does feel silly to be able to do one but not the other. Oh well...

 

I believe there is a way to get your key fob to close all the windows using a device made by a company called KP Technologies. I'm going to give them a call to see if the item they sell works in the RL. I know that it works in the Honda Pilot even though the Pilot is not specifically listed on their website.
