Just noticed recently that both the calendar and the address book apps are greyed out on my car. Not sure when this happened. Only thing I can think of is I update (about a year ago) to a new Nav disk but not sure if that is the cause or not. I have already removed/reinstalled that disk to see if that would clear it up (thinking that it didn't quite read it correctly the first time) but no change.

Anyone else seen this? How did you fix it?

Does your car say welcome driver 1 or 2 when you start it?

No, it only says Welcome. Not sure I've ever seen Driver 1/2 display.

I do have the memory set up. The seats do not return to "my" position upon unlocking the car but WILL return to position upon pressing the correct memory button.

Is there some issue with driver 1/2 memory being registered somewhere?

follow the learn procedure on the back of the remote.

It will have worked when the car says welcome driver 1/2

Then report back.

Tried several variations of the "Train" code and still do not have the Welcome Driver 1/2 showing. I did notice one and then 2 flashes of the red LED on the remote as I was holding both buttons.

BUT - I did check and I now have address book and calendar showing.

Think that got me going. Thanks very much!

If I see any other "funnyness", I'll give a shout.

Sounds good. the driver 1/2 will only appear if the car is locked and then unlocked with the FOB... but if you see the address book then they are synched again.

Found it!

Have to lock/unlock with key fob and then START the engine before you see the Driver 1/2 display. I was only seeing the initial Welcome screen (with no driver designation associated).

The lost is found. <g>
