I've seen pic of RL's with aftermarket intakes but I can't find them anywhere online to purchase. Is this like a custom fit thing or using the one off of a TL to fit the RL?

I believe the only one ive seen was the AEM CAI.. sorry if i'm a noob but i got my RL a few months ago and i'm starting to finally do some Mods to it.. Let me know if you have a cold air intake and which one do you use..

Yeah, the one most of us have is from the same motor in a TL. If you search in this forum, you'll find info including a photo of the "special bracket" you need to adapt it to the RL. Hint: .98 cents at Home Depot.

 

if you do a search on ebay, you can find one for $50. dont know of the quality. you could probably buy a descent filter for it and it would work just fine. do a search and you will get a ton of info on it. people do mod the tl one to work.

 

Ok thanks, just wanted to make sure it's not something that will fall apart but was hoping for one that is specific for the RL.

 

the only thing specific for the RL is the RL badge on the rear, everything else is Honda or a TL take off...
