Sorry all had to sell the 2005 acura rl. I got a nice audi now cpo with a nice warranty under 30k miles. really loved the car but u know the problem with it and the fix cost so much... door handle 500 each, hfs unit 1k , .. afs light fix 1k... must have spent over 1k on the upgrade discs.. .. .damn hit me hard u know. hope u all the best thanks

what kind of Audi? I"m guessing it wasn't an R8.....

If I sold my RL and went Audi... and stayed with a 4 door sedan, I'd want an RS4... Not as quiet or comfy and not as spacious...but it would be FUN

$1K on disks upgrades... I finally updated my original 2005 disk to the latest 2010 version for under $200. I guess if I did every new version it might reach $1000, but I think it takes 5 years to see any major differences.

As for the rest of the breaks... no problem here (knock on wood).

Audi is a damn nice car, but I no nothing of their maintenance costs... I can only relate to a friend of mine that had a BMW and was charged $800 for a new battery that was under the rear passenger seat.

If you don't mind my asking what was the VIN of your 2005? I think late run productions, VINs of 16XXX and above had less problems than the first batch.

I ended up with an 2008 audi a4 slin 36k mile cpo with winter and sport package. No nav built in but i like the external units much better anyway.
