End of lease buyout around $22K.

However the 05RL has 85K miles therefore about $6K in wear and tear and mileage if I return it. Otherwise it's tip-top.

Would you: A) Turn it in and take the $16K difference as a downpayment to BUY another car or, B) Buy the car and try to get more than $16K on a trade, or C) Buy the car and drive it for another 85K miles.

i think this car as the others have said would run over 250K+. This is a great car though.

 

The financially prudent answer is to buy the car and drive it another 85k miles. Think of it this way, what else would you buy for $16k that you'd trust for 85k miles?

 

i'd keep the car and drive it for another 85k miles. you can't buy a car for 16k...
