Brake lubes that I recommend
Hey gang I just did my front a rear brakes and did a lot of research on lubes for brakes and found that these two combos of lubes work best with Acura/Honda's. The rear on The RL have rubber bushings for the pins and need rubber friendly high temp lube. I recommend the AGS Sil-Glyde (400* temp resistant) for the pins as well as for the back of pads since you have rubber around the caliper Pistons and for the glide pins but use the Ceramic Extreme lube (3000* temp resistant) for the sides of the pads that only touch metal. The front I put AGS on the rears of the pads and ceramic on the sides off the pads.
late reply but.. i just finished re-greasing my caliper pins and then i saw you posted this like 10 min after i was done. I used the Permatex Ultralube (green colored), and i found out that it is not compatible with rubber afterwards, go figure. The second time i used AGS Sil-glyde, it sounds similar to the stuff honda recommends too. Wish you had posted that like a few weeks earlier
