Bluetooth will not disconnect
My understanding is that after 30 minutes the Bluetooth connectivity should stop once the engine has been turned off. Mine use to do this but recently it will connect if I get close to the car even the next morning. If I am standing near the car and make a call it will connect to the Bluetooth and I can hear nothing on my phone. The only solution is to hang up turn off Bluetooth and than call again. Does anyone else run into this problem and if so is there a solution. Another concern is if the car is constantly sending out bluetooth signals, could this drain the battery?
Thanks

Missing my
My phone automatically links to the car. My phone (iPhone) has an option to switch sources between speaker phone, standard call, or HF Link. If you don't have the option, I recommend trying to limit your calls outside of the car to an area at least 30 ft from the car. I know there is a command to switch from the phone to the car when you're inside the vehicle, but I don't know if it works the other way.

The bluetooth feature will not drain the battery on the car; it is too large with too much power. However, it will drain the battery on your phone; it is too small with too little power. My suggestion would be to turn your Bluetooth off when you are out of the car if you don't use it regularly. I turn mine on only when I get in the car to save battery. However, if you use a jawbone or something similar, this option maynot be feasible.
