Hi..i came across almost new oem front discs from the euro civic type r fk8.. i think its the same on the newer type r thats global fl5..
I Did some digging around and seems the brake disc would be plug and play on our Honda Legend (Kb2) or Acura RL
Well it is.. you just need 18.5mm spacers to offset the oem caliper to fit the new disc.. the spacers go between the caliper and the bolt holes on the wheel hub for the calipers.. i needed to open up the lower dust/cooling plate behind the disc.. so it doesnt touch the new disc..
Its a 355mm compared to the 320mm oem disc..
Didnt take pictures during the install but its plug and play.. i did. Some comparison on sizes and the weight .. weighs around 30% more than the 320mm oem ones.. 7.6kg for the oem compared

One on top of the other..

One beside the other
to 9.8kg civic brembo ones.
I hope i helped for upgrading to better larger discs..
You can use 15mm longer bolts but i used my old ones..the go in around 33mm inside the hub now they go 15mm.. (18.5mm spacer) which is fine..

Why? The stock brakes are terrific.

My discs were worn..and i needed new and this is just the right fit..and bigger is always better ..and look better under the 20" wheels.
there is a plus and a minus.. plus is bigger disc better stopping performance and higher heat absorption (its a heavy car the RL)
Minus is less performance - acceleration wise since its a heavier disc and its adding unsprung weight.. is a minus always..
But next time u go shopping for new discs you can buy oem 2 piece rotors that are for the integra type s (DE5) and fit them to your RL they must weugh less than the all steel ones i have.
