OK,

I just got our RL this week and now looking for the best deal on the following:

1. Chromed 18" wheels & tires
2. Wood steering wheel
3. Wood select knob


Also, I really think the RL is VERY loud inside due to the factory tires. Anyone else think this? What would be the best replacement tire?

There are a lot of threads about the OEM tires - and yes they are loud/terrible tires. For tires, I upgraded to the Michelin Pilot Sport a/s and they are great. I have about 3500 miles on them and I am selling them - mainly because I bought the 18" chrome wheels and I am putting the Pirelli Nero M&S tires on them (cheaper than the pilot sport but supposedly also very good tires).

All your accessories - buy them on ebay. That is your best bet. The steering wheel is around $375, knob is around $95, chrome wheels and tires are around $2400 (make sure when you buy these that they include the TPMS sensors).

$75+ shipping. Only used for about a week. I just prefer the leather one.
