Bent wheel

my wife ran into a curb yesterday and bent the wheel. Anybody have a wheel for an 05 RL? Acura list price is $652.

About a month ago I had a bent OEM rim, too. I found this place (local for me) and am glad I did. $200 for a refurbished OEM wheel, plus they gave me $55 for my bent one. I'm out $145 and have no complaints.

I found one on ebay for $114 and free shipping. Just hope it is as described. Seller had a 99.6 rating so it ought to be OK.

Thank you so much for that...

I'm in the same boat with my passenger rear, and have had zero luck finding one at that price range. Will be ordering shortly.

I have 4 rims sitting here ready to ship, one has the outside edge with curb rash but not to bad. $200 for the set. Shipping is the hardest part to find something to ship them in. Contact me if your interested. TPS units are still in the rims.

Not sure where you live but you can get your rim "straightened" for about $125.

Any recommended places that will straighten a wheel out for you in the Long Island, NY area? My rim is bent on the backside which should be an easier fix.

One guy recommended awrswheelrepair & they quoted me $100 without knowing where the wheel was bent. Is that a good price? Has anyone else used these guys? Since a backside bend is an easier fix, will it affect the price?

Not sure where in Long Island, but there are a couple of places in Boston. $100 is not bad, Boston shops charge about $125 including balancing.

After saving my wheel from replacement, I recommend awrswheelrepair.com if you didn't get the wheel taken care of yet. I had a bend on the back side of my wheel that was fixed like new for $100. At worst, the wheel might crack (50/50 chance) after straightening it out & if that happens, then it's $50 more to send it out to get welded.
