Base 07 RL to NAV?

Base 07 RL to NAV?

I've been searching the forum for option on upgrading to the NAV unit but can't seem to find anything (besides a topic in the garage but the link seems to be broken I-003: DIY: Base RL to Navigation RL conversion

My main goal is to add a backup camera but have it displayed on the factory screen not have a secondary screen just for the camera! ANY and ALL information is MUCH appreciated!!

Or will the NAV Tool work with the base model?

The links are fucked up but if you go thru them, copy the right part out and paste it will work. For whatever reason no one had fixed the links...try this

It doesn't seem all that bad actually, found a nav unit for just under $200 with shipping and the installation process should take no longer than 30 minutes (unplug the current dvd unit in the trunk and plug in new one), only have to remove some clips covering the current unit. I guess we'll find out though once i receive it.

How about voice commands, voice feedback for nav, integration with muting front speakers during voice guidance? Let us know if it all works.
