Badges? I don't need no stinking badges
I want to remove all badges on the back of my 05 RL except for the A logo in the center. Does anyone know how the rest of the badges are attached? ie, are the attached with bolts that would expose a hole if I were to remove it, or are they simply glued on?
thanks!
thanks!

I believe the RL and the SH-AWD badges are glued on. I believe there is a time honored dental floss trick plus 3M automotive adhesive remover after. Be sure to wax the area after because you will be down to bare paint.

They are all double sided taped...
depending on what year your car is and how often it was in the sun its going to be easier or harder to take them off. When I debadged out RL, I didnt have to use any glue removed as everything was still on the letters and there was no ghosting either.

Correct. They are all attached to the trunk lid by double sided foam tape. Use a hair drier to heat up the badge and then use dental floss to get behind the badge and slowly cut through the foam. Then you'll need a medium buffing compound to clean off the residue and finish off with a nice wax.
