I've got a baby on the way, and am looking to replace my CL with a '05 or '06 RL. Does anyone have an opinion on how the baby-friendly the RLs are (i.e., how easy is it to load/unload a baby seat, how easy is it to change a poopy diaper in the back seat, etc.)?

It's very easy to load a car seat, because the back doors open up to a 90 degree angle (a cool feature I do not think exists on many other cars). Changing a diaper is harder, because the middle of the back seat has a large raised hump. But, still, because of the maximum door opening angle, it is quite easy to position yourself and child in the back.

Piece of Cake. I have a 4 week old and I prefer putting him in the RL vs. my wife's X3. Especially if you have people in the back with him. But, getting him in and out of the car is no problem. We change him in the front passenger seat especially since he is still a tiny little thing.

But trunk space is a different story If you are making a trip somewhere and you want to through in the stroller and a little luggage, it is going to be tight.
