B2 Maintenance
Took the RL in for the B2 check up. The day before the appointment it was 92 degrees and the AC went kaput! It worked the following morning on the way to the dealership. Well it turns out the battery was bad and the AC compressor is being replaced. So for the weekend I have a TL to drive. I am covered by the warranty. Yea!

No new vehicle I have owned has had an OEM battery last more than 2 years.
Glad the warranty has you covered!

When I traded in my '01 TL in May of '06, it still had the OEM battery (80K) miles.
My old Land Cruiser was 6 yrs old/95K miles, still with the original battery, and our current Land Cruiser is 4yrs old/64K miles, still OEM.
On the other hand, I had a two day old Pathfinder in '98 with 50 miles on the odo, have a dead battery two days after we bought it. Turned out to be a bad cell. My brother just had the battery replaced on his '06 TL.
My point is that you never know with that stuff. It's hit and miss.

I am happy for you.
I was making a statement based on my experience and a common complaint I have observed. I was not stating a rule.
I will refrain from posting my opinion when it does not comply with your experiences.

Update has the AC compressor shot. It is on backorder from Honda! It will be almost TWO weeks by the time I get the RL back. At least I will get the new extended tips. They came in. I continue to drive the TL.
