Anyone install this? KP Tech Auto Roll-Up window Module

Hi,

Ran a search but nothing came up. Has any 2G RL owners installed this into their vehicle? ( http://www.kptechnologies.com/products.php#/17). This module allows you to roll-up the windows & moonroof by hitting the lock button twice w/ your remote. I know our RL’s windows roll down when the unlock button is hit twice & held in but it doesn’t roll back up unless you enter the physical key in the driver’s keyhole and turn it. Basically this module mimics that.

TSX owners & 3G TL owners have done it - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=596643 & 1G ZDX as well - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=827660

It’ll be great if someone has done this and tell me what wires to tap into. If not, I'll probably experiment myself. Not bad for $50.

TIA

I guess this will be one of my next project. Have you done it on your 3G Justin?

At 50$, I'd be VERY interested in seeing if this can work. Subscribed.

Oh my God. This feature is standart with Legend in Europe.
Both all open & all close function is possible.

Why only in EUDM?

Shit!

Wow... Just... Wow... They really shafted USDM didn't they? No cooled seats, no clear corners, no snow setting, no headlight washers and now no auto roll-up...

It's quite interesting to see which features our RL's are 'capable' of but are hindered when coming to the states. If anyone has ever taken their bumper off, they'll see we're already fully equipped with headlight washer lines, just no nozzle apparatus. Also, the JDM version has a pop-up night vision camera/screen. I purchased a JDM catalogue of the Legend and there are a handful of cool features they (and Euro) get that we don't.

Pretty sure there's a thread about it. Don't forget the rear seat footwell LEDs.

Speak for yourself...I got cooled seats and headlight washers. Snow setting IMO is useless.

Yeah, Canada gets that I almost considered importing one JUST for the cooled seats.

in the DIY you linked, they only tapped 3 wires.
I have not done it to my car, but have seen buddies do it to multiple 3G's.

given the 3G DIY you linked, i bet you could figure out the RL's schematics quickly

I know the rest of world gets all the goodies but it's a lot more expensive hence why they have to compensate the price w/ the extras.

Guess I'll put in an order soon and give a try. Look out for another DIY in a few weeks.

Yes, it's supposed to close the sunroof along w/ the windows. Basically what your remote does, this module does in reverse order.

I'm currently creating a DIY for the MMC climate control install so I'll work on this project as soon as I'm done.
