Another RL 0-60 Time
The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada just performed testing for the car of the year awards.
0-100km (0-62 MPH)
Run 1 - 7.15 sec
Run 2 - 7.23 sec
100km - 0 (62-0) Braking was an average of 129.5 ft
Other cars in the testing category included:
Cadillac STS V8 RWD - 0 to100km - 6.67, 6.49 - Braking - 126.09ft
Infiniti G35X - 0 to 100km - 6.91, 6.77 - Braking - 135.84ft
Chysler 300C - 0 to 100km - 6.13, 6.49, 6.16, 6.43 - Braking - 136.75ft
The Chysler 300C won this category (Best new luxury car) BTW.

So I guess were #2. Funny that the January Cons Reports rated the Ford 500 above the 300C? Anyway, I can live with the RLs somewhat understated styling. The 300C was too over-the-top-Rolls-Roycey to me.
