Annoying "pagead2.googlesyndication" dialog box
Is anyone else suffering from the anoying "pagead2.googlesyndication" dialog box logon request that pops up everytime you try to navigate the intra-links on this web site? This started happening just recently. The moderator indicated it was a problem with my browser and suggested I disable cookies...needless to say that didn't work..

No problems here with Mozilla Firefox.
Typically that's a indication of using Adsense with Adwords for Google, though it can happen even with Adsense off if, at one time, there was an Adsense/Google link.
Yet another reason to run Firefox as your browser.

I didn't suggest you disable cookies, i suggested you clear your acurazine related cookies. Then when you log back in, the problem should be solved.
Did you try that, or did you only try to disable cookies, which would not have the desired effect.

robb, he's not getting an acurazine logon. clearing cookies will be of no help.
i'm guessing what you're seeing is some sort of http/proxy authentication box?
perhaps your place or work or your isp is filtering adsense for some reason?
it's definately not cause by anything here, and we haven't made any recent changes. i'd guess if you go to any site running google adsense you'll get the same login.
i'll email google support and see if they have any known issues like this. you should take a screenshot of what you're seeing and send it to me: adam at acurazine dot com
in the meantime, if you're using firefox, download the adblock extension - it will block our ads from showing, and probably prevent you from seeing that authentication dialog.

I'm using Opera (7.54) and it happens with IE 6.xx as well. I sent you a screenshot. Acurazine is my favorite Acura related site so you can just imagine how this is driving me nuts. BTW, it happens when I go to the Motor Trend website and one other site (can't recall the name right now). Any advice and/or help is appreciated...

Shotgun, it is caused by a TROJAN. You should use software like Ad-Aware ASAP to remove it!
