I own a '04 TSX and traded in my '06 MT TL 22k miles for an '06 RL w/22k miles.

I test drove the C and E Classes, BMW 3 and 5 classes/series - but they all seemed too heavy for the engines. The E Class and 5 Series were better, but engines weren't as quick as I would've hoped. I guess this is why people spring for the AMG and M Classes. I looked at a Lexus GS 350, but didn't like the styling or the navigation system, and I tried the Infiniti M35X but found the navigation blah and the handling just "ok."

Perhaps I'm used to Acuras, but when I sat in this RL for the first time, my gut knew this would be the car I would buy. Coincidentally, it happened to be the last one I sat in this weekend. My family was urging me to get something other than Acura.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I love the way the RL looks, drives and operates.

Another one know a good used one for sale?
You missed a great white one. Touge sold his famous white RL about a month or two ago. How is that M5?

Damn, I really love the RL in white. Just curious, do you know how much it went for?

I think the 3/4 rear view is the best angle of the car. I actually don't like the front. I know I'm in the minority there but the grill isn't great and I think the headlights are a little too "robotic" looking. Everything else is beautiful.

Oh, I don't like the think A-pillar too much either.

I'm also in the minority in the fact that I like the OEM wheels. To me, any 5-spoke wheel looks good.

Weather around here has been sloppy. Just enough snow to keep the streets wet. As a result, my grey RL had a nice coat of crud and salt.

My garage stays rather warm so I hand washed her, and that beautiful glossy paint came back through and I just sat there admiring it when I was finished.

I love everything about this car.

WDP owners be proud!

I had to share....

I had the rare pleasure of driving behind and beside a bone stock WDP RL for a little while last night on my way to an Xmas party. All I can say is....why didn't I buy that color? The RL looks striking in white and its shape at night is almost sexy. I can see one reason people responded so well to Touge's RL.

While some feel the styling of our car is bland, I beg to differ. A last-gen Malibu...bland. RL...not bland.

So if you were driving the WDP RL on Northfield Rd. about 7:30 last night, delurk!

Everyone has their own taste, so I can't criticize. I agree with you on liking 5-spoke wheels in general, but my beef with the stockers is that the spokes are simply too wide and flared. They just don't match the car.

As an owner of a white RL I sadly have to say I made a mistake. I much prefer now carbon gray pearl. After owning quite a few silver/gray cars I wanted a change. I think the white would be better if it had more of a reflective nature like on Cadillacs. To me a white RL does not stand out; that is why I asked about pinstriping in a thread a few months ago. Oh well, hopefully, only a few more months to wait for my new not white '09 RL.

BOB....I guess once a TLphile, always a TLphile...WDP is a TL color. PWP is the RL color. Premium White Pearl

The Lexus ES350 has the absolute best white pearl...Starfire Pearl...the Starfire is a much purer white color and the luster in the sun is extreme.

I stand corrected.

Hi, I'm Bob, and I like TLs.

I like my Celestial (yellowish) Silver, but that white RL was stunning to see in the dark.
