So I ordered a set of turn signals which arrived yesterday, and figured out that the guy selling them listed them wrong in that they apparently only fit the 06-09s properly. They are REALLY close for the 05 however (see pic), so I'm wondering if it's possible to either do some sanding and filing to get them to flush up, or alternately, if someone has a link to the right smoked sequential signals to fit my 05?

 

Are they attached well, so they won't fall off ? If so I would just get some black silicon sealant and fill the gap - if you do a nice neat job it'll be invisible.

 

I don't see them falling off because the screw pretty much locks them in, but they're definitely a little loose and rattly...black rtv might work though to clean up the lines and insulate. Biggest worry is wind and water damaging the wiring inside...

 

So these signals are all made for the Accord mirrors and they look exactly the same but it's actually not. I ordered like 3 pairs already and all of them say it fits the RL but it doesn't sit flush with the housing. So I ordered the Accord mirror caps and although the RL turn signal does fit in there, you can see its slightly sunken in.
