Acural RL 05 Cd Player wont work

As many of you here have had this problem, I too now have it. I am really dissapointed in the quality of this car now, first my AC and now my player. I guess I played too many data discs in my car, anyways...

My question to all of you is this...is there a possibility of putting an auxiliary cable in or taking one out of system so I can use it with my iphone. I dont feel like spending 2000 dollars on replacing my cd stereo unit.

Has anyone done this???

2nd question everytime I put my car in drive there is a jerk a small one, reverse is fine. But, the drive sucks cuz sometimes its a hard jerk when i put into gear.

I have 90 000 km on it, although the car is rebuild I am kind of terrified that now my transmission is going.

Any help would be great !!

Thanks guys!!

i would do a tranny flush and see if that helps. or it could be your tranny mounts that are worn out and causing it to jerk.

I did do a tranny flush and no help what so ever, but Im really hoping it continues to run properly. Just very very frustrating such an amazing car and to think that the transmission would go after 90 000km is just ridicolous.

I have the honda ipod adapter to the back of the radio.

You can't control the ipod from the steering wheel, but it beats listening to the radio lol

What? Why do you think that?
If that were the case, every 2005/2006 owner here would have that problem.
There are plenty of 10yr old changers out there still functioning well

I'm 4years, 85k miles and my 6 DVDA changer is working great. Now, if I could just find that Machine Head disc for cheap, everything would be copacetic.

Get the iSimple iPod adapter. I bought and had it installed at BestBuy. My iPod stays in my glove compartment. It works great. I can control it through my dash and steering wheel.

I had this on my CL-S and we have it on our MDX as well. Great kit, but I was wondering how the iSimple will work with the stock non-touchscreen navi. Any input??

I paid about $100 for the kit and $50 for the installation at Best Buy.

I have a USAspec. Its connected to the back of my cd player and it controls my ipod through the cd player and steering wheel. It charges and everything. You might want to look into it. Worth every penny.
