Hi Guys just need some input

A private seller in my neighborhood selling a 2005 RL White with Tan 19k miles for 20k flat.

The car has mud flaps, wood trim steering wheel and shift knob, aftermarket backup camera and DVD player (movies) and the acura chrome rims.

I did the autocheck on it and it seemed legit. I just test drove it and it was fine.

I love the car, but my dad thinks its too much. The car is also under warranty till October 09.

My questions are, should i get it? and can/should i get an extended warranty?

19K in 4 years? too hard to believe. Other than that - it is excelent car! I have mine for almost a month and absolutely in love with it!

 

This is a sick deal. I would just spend another 1200 or so and get an extended warranty.

Hey, the seller just called and he up to sell it again.

The mileage seems a bit too low for its own good, do we have any way to verify the actual mileage? can anyone from acura look at records?

I wouldn’t be to cautious about the low mileage as I just got my 05 with 24k on it in November. I would say that the owner bought it towards the very end of the year like mine since you warranty expires in Oct of this year also.
Do a CarFax report.
Get the extended warranty!

First your car has to be under factory warranty still so you must get one before yours runs out. You can get one at any acura dealer but call more then one to get different prices. you can also get it online searching this site will provide you with links. I am a "at the dealer" man myself.

 

I got extended warranty through my credit union - 60mo/60000 since date of purchase for $1K 0 deductible

 

Sorry, been away from the site a couple of days.

I'd like to add to the "buy it" chorus. Seems in reasonably good shape and the mileage is great!
