Mine is due.

What has everyone been paying?

Haven't gotten there yet, but I gather that one means oil change, tire rotation and change rear differential fluid. I wouldn't expect to pay more than about $100 for these services, but I also wouldn't be surprised to know Acura gets twice that figure!

Let us know when you find out.

Picked up the car from the dealer last night. The charge for A16 service (no additional work) was $176. Breakdown is as follows:

Labor = $108
Parts = 62
Tax & misc = 6

A16 service is basically an oil/filter change, tire rotation, and replace rear differential fluid. The dealer was Mission Viejo Acura, in California.

Ouch. That's abut 2 hours labor, which really seems like a lot to me. Tire rotation takes about 10 minutes, oil change maybe 10-15 minutes, diff oil change maybe another 15-20 minutes.

I'm not nickel and diming, but I think that's a little excessive. Just my opinion, of coourse, since I've never been a fan of those "scheduled services".

Did they balance the tires as well, or just rotate them?

I think the last time I looked, labor in No. VA was running about $95/hr. Not saying that is OK, but just pointing out how different hourly labor rates are in different parts of the country!

I paid around $90 for an oil change and differential fluid change a month ago. $86 for tire rotation seems kind of steep.

It's not nickel and diming when it's outrageous. I'm with you on that notion. My oil life is currently at 50% and I'm already dreading the service indicator. I just hate feeling "taken advantage of" when it comes to a "perceived" level of service for a luxury car.

Good question - the work order doesn't specifically state "balance", only "rotate".
