My old trusty 2005 RL has 243k pampered over-maintained miles. It has been super reliable, always garaged -- the best car I have ever owned. But I have found a one-owner, later model (2011) gently used RL. It is out of Georgia, gray exterior, light gray interior, motor oil was dealer changed every year, garaged in temperature-controlled building, no wrecks, less than 18,000 miles with original tires. Other than changing the tires, what should I change or service? Other advice? Thanks, Roger

 

If the timing belt hasn't been changed, it's 10 years old - change it immediately.
The tyres may also be end-of-life if they're 10 years old, depending on how the rubber has hardened...
Also check the air-con for full functionality, lack of use can dry the seals and cause leaks.
