Just upgraded the interior lights on my RL. I posted the links below from amazon. Extremely easy to do...hardest part is actually removing the plastic lens. I used a very small flat head screwdriver that was part of a mini tool kit I purchased for $11 a while back from amazon when I swapped out the battery on my Macbook. Don't try prying the lens open with a normal sized screwdriver because you'll damage the plastic. You can also try using an old hotel key card or credit card to pry out the lens. I posted comparison pics below of the stock door courtesy light vs the new LED light. Biggest difference I noticed was the rear dome lights; they are actually borderlining on too bright! I'm still waiting on amazon to ship the vanity mirror Led bulbs, I'll post pics of those later this week.
My next project is adding blue LED strip lighting to the foot wells; the RL already has a small LED bulb on the driver and passenger side but it's barely noticeable.
Looks good. I just did the same for my 07. I also got them from amazon. The seller had all the lights in one package specifically for the RL. I was a little worried I would end up with some wrong size bulbs, but it was all correct...
I don't mind it in the car. I know what you mean about office lights because I can't stand bright white in houses. For some reason, it doesn't bother me in the car though.
I miss the LED interior lights I put in my RL. The 4G TL has LED's soldered into the dome lights and they are too warm for my liking. Prefer that crisp pure white light.
