He couldn't have been forced to switch by unfortunate circumstances and turns out he liked the '07 more?

1 picture, powerful statement, "lots of things to be done". Someone needs encouragement to tell more.
And post more pictures.
Such insightful ways of shutting down conversations J. Is it coz I posted in them?
Oh well I hope not.

This is the first time I pay attention to the facelift RL (maybe the color) but this thing actually looks HUGE. Really quite mean and executive looking. The previous RL looks very small (still attractive though) but didn't look like a 70k car, this really does!
Congratulations.
Congratulations.

Congrats... My only pick would be 2011 or 2012 if I wanted to freshen up my 2006 one

^ I been thinking myself the complete package would be in an advance package 2011 or 2012 to get the 6 speed trans. and folding mirrors that I'm missing.
It's just, ... what am I gonna do with two RLs... .

You read my mind. I started after this post fantasizing about getting the 11 or 12 for her, and lowering my 09 and modding the shit out of it. Iakonafuji's 2009 RL Progression Thread - Page 3 - AcuraZine - Acura Enthusiast Community
I've had constant wood since that idea!

If your '10 is advance package, you'd also be missing rear parking sensors which I'd remove unless they really sound discreet and high end, and folding mirrors, different front grille, and color options.

The six speed did come out in 2011, but it was automagic. In 2012, the wheels came with Helmholtz resonators to reduce noise.

I have a 2011 and they also the resonators. Also what is interesting is if you throw the stick into S mode, then use the shifters, it will no longer auto shift for you.

Congrats with the upgrade! Could you or someone with a 09+ RL do a function check:
I've recently upgraded my '06 RL's climate control unit to a '10 control unit, where there are separate buttons for fan speed and mode. The control unit works flawlessly. The only gimmick is that when I'm not on the climate control screen and if I press a button to change fan speed or mode, there is no popup indication on the map screen to show this change. I'm curious as to whether the 09+ models will display a popup screen to show fan speed and/or mode change when your display is showing the map, or anything other than the climate control screen.
The popup indication I'm referring to is similar to when you change fan speed by voice control. A popup will show up on the bottom of the screen to indicate the change.
