Hi I'm new on acurazine! I have a 2006 acura rl! Unfortunately I have a problem with my RL! When my lights are on the interior lights begin to pulse and if you turn on the dome lights they look like mini strobe lights with how much they are pulsing. Also when the high beems are turned on they begin to pulse/flicker as well... Any fixes?!!? The lights do not pulse when the car is off and the lights are on/ along with the dome lights as well

 

Also one of my idiot friends pulled way to hard on the interior rear door handle and now no longer works... Anyway to reconnect the door handle? The outside handle still work fine but the inside handle does not work and I have to either get out and let them out or roll down the window and they'll have to reach over and use the exterior handle!! NEED FIX ASAP

 

It sounds like the ballast is interfering with the alternator signal if it only happens with the low beams on and the engine running. Whether it is the ballast or the alternator with the problem is hard to tell from here.

As for the door handle, first check that the child lock did not get set. That's the most obvious cause. If that is not it, the cable was likely disconnected from the handle. This will require pulling the door panel off to reconnect the cable if the bracket on the handle that holds the cable did not break.

I had the lights flickering thing happened to me twice. First time was only headlights - I changed both bulbs, haven't had an issue since. Second time was exterior and interior lights pulsing, and my radio/nav turned off randomly for a split second. I checked my battery connections and + was loose. I tightened it, no problems since.
