I replaced my serpentine belt and now my power steering pulley sounds aweful...making like a ticking noise...the pump isn't making any noise and steering is fine. But how do you get that pulley off to replace it? It doesn't have a nut like I've seen on other acura's...thanks

 

whatever you do; dont be like me and get your ratchet stuck....

That must have been a bitch to get off.

 

the funny thing; I had a 14mm wrench in hand and could have easily switched to the wrench to finish the job.

i went to town with the ratchet and was like oh shit. its stuck.
then, i made it worse by continuing to loosen the bolt making the ratchet even more stuck!

i took a vice grip to the socket and tightened the bolt.
which in turn, made the ratchet loose enough to where I could take it out.

then finished the job with a wrench.


Noob mistakes! but better believe I learned not to do it again.
