2005 RL - How-To replace bulb on drivers side lock switch (interior)

I got a 2005 RL about 2 weeks ago and love it.

Issue: The inside lock switch on the passenger side is back lighted at night. However, the drivers side is not. I ordered a replacement blub and am not sure how to replace the bulb with the switch in the door. I removed the small panel behind the inside door latch and removed the single screw. I can't determine what trim/panel needs to come off to get behind the switch. I don't want to remove more panels than I need to.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

It will probably require you to remove the door panel. There's a link in the garage on how to do it.

^that's the only way, I think, as well is to remove the whole door panel to get to the bulb socket because mine just went out recently on my passenger side front
